The Alpha-Stim has been wonderful and I feel great every day now. It has
been a "lifesaver"!.
Here is my story... Last month (Jan 2007) I went in search of a "natural"
way to cure my depression, anxiety and sleep disturbances. (previous to my
search I had made an apt with my nurse practitioner who was going to put me
on Effexor- a very powerful AD drug --she said I needed " a stick of
dynamite-if that says anything about the state I was in) and she told me I
would have to be on it the rest of my life. Well, needless to say, I will
never forget that, and I didn't sit with me very well. I did fill the
script, but was really reluctant to take the first pill. (Also, I had been
on Zoloft in the past and stop using it because of the side effects). I am a
person who really doesn't like side effects even if I know they will go
away.
Before I put one pill in my mouth ( I looked at the bottle for about 3
days), I wanted to make sure Effexor was for me (even though it was
prescribed I still wanted to make sure this was the way to go).. Well, after
looking at various depression drug sites and hitting a site called "crazymeds.org"
and reading the "cons" of this drug I was pretty sure I needed to find
another way to cure my depression. On that site it had a link to "cure
depression naturally" so I hit and "wah la" I was sent to the Alpha Stim
solution. I was so excited and read every detail of how it worked, and
watched all the testimonials from the news clips and read other peoples
stories. I shared this with my husband who is a RN and he said "go for it"
and with a 30 day back guarantee -why not. Then I called my nurse
practitioner and she wrote me a script. The Alpha Stim arrived 1 week later.
I have had it now for over 30 days. I started on the 0-1 level for a couple
of weeks using it daily and wanted to work my way to the recommended level
of 2. (like I said I am pretty sensitive) I did have one day that I started
at a level to high and it made me nauseous but went away quickly like the
directions said after turning it back down.--The great fact is that " I am
in control" of the level I want and the results I want. That is the best
aspect of this way of treatment. Well, I am now at 2-3 level and use it
every day or other day. (Also, you can feel results quicker if you can get
to a level of 1 or more sooner like it is directed, it just will depend on
you). Anyway, I feel 99% better than I did 30 days ago, depression, anxiety
is gone and I am sleeping much better. Best of all NO SIDE EFFECTS!! (My son
has ADD ADHD and I plan on starting him on it soon too.)
Also, my nurse practitioner called me a week ago to see how I was doing and
said she is now going to get one for her practice.
Again, I am very thankful for the Alpha Stim and highly recommend this as a
truly effective treatment for depression, anxiety and insomnia. In my
opinion, it is a much more logical & natural way, than synthetic drugs that
just "band-aid and effect your entire body " instead of correcting &
adjusting the only source--your-head!!".
